SSI is looking for experienced Permit to Work (PTW) Specialists to support construction, commissioning and operating sites across Australia and overseas.
The work
Develop, review and apply boundary isolations for construction and commissioning work
Manage PTW systems across multi-discipline projects, including e-PTW systems
Manage permits for high-risk work: hot work, confined space entry, excavation and work at heights
Work with construction, commissioning and HSE teams to embed safe practices
Support PTW audits and train site personnel
What you'll need
5+ years' PTW and isolation experience in mining, processing, oil and gas or heavy industry
Ability to read P&IDs and design isolations
Construction and commissioning boundary isolation management experience highly regarded (brownfield and/or greenfield)
Experience with e-PTW systems highly regarded
WHS, engineering or trade qualification highly regarded
Cert IV in Training and Assessment highly regarded
A valid passport (for international work)

Rosters vary by project and client, and may include:
International FIFO swings (e.g. 21/14, 14/14)
Domestic FIFO swings (e.g. 14/14, 8/6)
Shorter domestic rosters (e.g. 5/2, 4/3)
Work from home or our office, with flexible hours
