Foleys is one of New Zealand’s leading plumbing, drainage, electrical and mechanical companies. Our Christchurch team is growing, and we’re looking for a Service Plumber to join our team and deliver high-quality plumbing services across a range of residential and commercial sites.
About the Role
As a Service Plumber, you’ll carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, fault-finding and installation work across a variety of sites. You’ll work directly with customers, diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with New Zealand regulations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance and service work
Diagnose faults and identify practical solutions to plumbing issues
Complete installations, upgrades and remedial work as required
Respond to service requests and manage jobs efficiently
Communicate clearly with customers, Service Managers and team members
Ensure all work meets NZ regulations and industry standards
Maintain accurate job notes and updates using digital job management systems
Build strong relationships with customers and deliver excellent service
Participate in the on-call roster, if required
What We’re Looking For
NZ Registered Plumber – Tradesman or Certifying
Proven plumbing experience, ideally in a service environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Reliable, safety-focused and physically fit
Comfortable using digital job management systems
Full NZ driver’s licence
Valid NZ work rights
