The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the 1M team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering maintenance and facilities-related projects across a range of commercial client sites. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, site teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high service standards.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage maintenance, refurbishment, minor works, and facilities projects from initiation through to completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources to deliver quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare project plans, cost estimates, scopes of work, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, company policies, and client standards.
- Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to minimise disruption and maintain service delivery.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities for additional maintenance and project services.

- Proven experience in project management within maintenance, facilities management, building services, construction, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and resource coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements within commercial environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Competent with project reporting and administration systems.
- Current Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
