Dental Assistant / Sterilisation Assistant

Full-Time or Part-Time Job Share – Browns Bay

North Shore Dental is looking for a reliable and organised Dental Assistant / Sterilisation Assistant to join our busy 11-chair dental practice in Browns Bay.

This role involves independently managing our sterilisation area and ensuring instruments are cleaned, sterilised and ready for use throughout the day.

Our ideal candidate is reliable, organised and hardworking, with previous dental assisting or sterilisation experience preferred. They must be confident working independently in a busy 11-chair dental practice, able to prioritise tasks, manage their workload efficiently and maintain high infection control standards.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, has excellent attention to detail and works well as part of a team. The ability to keep up with the demands of a busy sterilisation area is essential.

We are open to full-time applicants or those seeking morning or afternoon shifts, with job sharing considered.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday 7.30am- 5.30pm, with flexible options available minimum 5 shifts per week:

• Full-time

• Mornings only

• Afternoons only

• Job share considered

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning, sterilising and preparing dental instruments

• Maintaining infection control standards

• Ensuring instruments are available for the clinical team

• Keeping the sterilisation area clean and organised

• Assisting the dental team when required

About You

• Previous dental assisting or sterilisation experience preferred

• Able to work independently and manage a busy workload

• Organised, efficient and reliable

• Good attention to detail

• Able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure

• Friendly and willing to work as part of a team

Training will be provided where required.
