About the role

Huka Prawn Park is a unique visitor attraction in Taupō with multiple teams across Pools, Park, Ticketing and Restaurant. We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, being part of a fun team and helping create great experiences for our visitors, we'd love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

• Pools / Lifeguard Team Leader: Lead staff, maintain high standards of pool safety, supervise daily operations and ensure visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience

• Lifeguards: Monitor pool areas, respond to emergencies, maintain safety standards and provide friendly assistance to visitors

• Pool Attendants: Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming pool environment, assist visitors and support the lifeguard team with day-to-day operation of pool areas

• Customer Service Staff: Welcome visitors, process admissions to the Pools and Park, handle payments, provide information and help ensure every guest receives a positive experience

• Restaurant Team Leader: Manage daily restaurant operations, lead and support staff, maintain service standards and ensure guests receive great food and outstanding service

About you

• Friendly, approachable and customer-focused

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Comfortable working in a busy visitor environment

• Positive team players with a willingness to help others

• Able to work weekends, public holidays and during busy periods

• Passionate about providing excellent visitor experiences

• Qualified lifeguards preferred but not essential for Lifeguard positions

• Experienced hospitality professional preferred for Restaurant Team Leader role

• Duty Managers' Licence advantageous for Restaurant Team Leader role
