We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major bulk earthworks project on a large-scale mine site. This is an initial 2-3 month contract opportunity working on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Sydney Airport, offering market day rates and the chance to be part of a flagship mining project.

You will be responsible for the full range of day-to-day site engineering duties, including but not limited to:

- Major bulk earthworks package on an active mine site
- Large-scale, high-volume production environment
- Well-established client with a strong delivery team
You will be responsible for the full range of day-to-day site engineering duties, including but not limited to:
- Set-out, survey coordination, and quantity tracking
- Daily production reporting and progress claims
- QA documentation, ITPs, and compliance
- Coordination with supervisors, operators, and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to program
- Degree-qualified Civil Engineer
- 2+ years' experience in civil construction
- Strong foundations, sub-grade, pavements, culverts experience is essential
- Previous mining experience highly regarded
- Confident working in fast-paced, high-output environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
