The Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team.

The role will involve:

System Design: Creating electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, and functional design specifications (FDS) for industrial hardware.
Programming: Developing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) code to manage automated industrial processes.
Integration & Testing: Commissioning control panels, troubleshooting hardware/software loops, and integrating systems on-site.
Collaboration: Working alongside electricians, project managers, and clients to deliver turnkey industrial automation solutions.

Essential Requirements

Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC's, HMI's and SCADA
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
Experience with VSD's, instrumentation & industrial automation systems
Australian citizenship
Current open Australian driver's licence
Ability to work in South Australia

Desirable

Experience with Siemens, Omron, Schneider, Mitsubishi PLC's
Previous experience working within an electrical contracting or industrial environment
