Marlborough Health Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and ideally experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Practice Nurse. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary health care, patient triage, chronic disease management, and health promotion to patients of all ages. Hours are flexible but we are looking for 24 hours per week ideally.

Key Responsibilities for the role include:

• Immunisations

• Wound care

• Triage

• Smear/HPV consultations

• Providing patient education, advice, and follow-ups

• Long term condition management

Essential Requirements:

• Current NZ Practicing Certificate with appropriate indemnity

• Valid CPR Certificate

• NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa

• Empathetic communication skills, the desire to be within a collegial work environment, and have a drive for delivering quality patient-centred care

Preferred Skills (training can be provided):

• Experience in Primary Health Care

• Familiarity with PMS Indici

• Vaccinators Certificate

• HPV swab and smear-taking skills
