Staff Veterinarian (DVM) – Yuma, AZ | $50K Sign-On Bonus
A busy, AAHA-accredited hospital in Yuma, Arizona, that has served the community for over 30 years is seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The 10,000 sq ft facility has digital X-ray, ultrasound, a full dental suite, surgical laser and a CT machine, and sees a diverse caseload that includes surgery, exotics and orthopedics. Well-trained technicians and doctors are happy to mentor new graduates. This role offers medical autonomy, strong support staff and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Provide wellness, surgical, dental and urgent care for a diverse caseload
- Perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures
- Utilize digital X-ray, ultrasound, CT and in-house diagnostics
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with technicians, doctors and support staff
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Active or eligible Arizona veterinary license
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- New graduates welcome, with mentorship available
Compensation & Benefits
- $200,000 – $300,000 annual salary plus production bonus, depending on experience
