Pipefitter – Taranaki

We are currently looking for an experienced Pipefitter to join a well-established team working on an industrial project in the Taranaki region.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who is confident working with piping systems, can read drawings and specifications, and takes pride in delivering quality work in a safety-focused environment.

The role will involve:

• Fabrication, installation and fitting of pipework
• Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications
• Measuring, cutting, preparing and fitting pipe systems
• Working alongside mechanical trades and site teams
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
• General pipefitting duties associated with industrial/project work

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Pipefitter, ideally within industrial, mechanical, engineering or construction environments
• Strong practical pipefitting and fabrication skills
• Ability to read and work from drawings
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
• Reliable, physically fit and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Relevant trade qualification is highly regarded
• Current site tickets/licences are advantageous
