About the role

You will test web and mobile applications, write test cases, and start automating them with guidance from senior engineers.

What you will do

• Write and run test cases for new features
• Log defects with clear steps and evidence
• Write and maintain basic automated tests
• Take part in regression testing before each release

What you will need

• 1–3 years in software testing
• Good understanding of test design and the defect life cycle
• Basic programming in Python, Java, C# or JavaScript
• Web application testing

Good to have

• Playwright or Selenium
• Using GenAI prompts or AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot to generate test data or draft first-cut test cases
• Mobile app testing
• ISTQB Foundation

Education

B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or a related field, or MCA
