Position: -- Associate Program Manager - Community Development
Lodha Foundation offers an exciting platform to elevate our women’s empowerment initiatives. In this role, you will work to implement, monitor and evaluate, and coordinate long-term partnerships with leading organizations and college and NGO partners to support women enter and sustain in the formal workforce.
Key Responsibilities
You will work under the guidance of the Associate Program Manager to achieve the following:
- Follow and implement a detailed implementation plan co-created with the Lodha Foundation team based on implementing needs assessments; local infrastructure development initiatives; and Lodha Foundation’s flagship women’s economic empowerment program, Unnati
- Learn how to use assigned data collection tools and methods trained on in an efficient and effective manner for accurate data collection and processing
- Use data collection tools and methods trained on to effectively and efficiently conduct community mobilization and outreach, awareness raising and enrolment of unemployed women seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce in your area
- Manage data collection and entry for creating and maintaining a dashboard of community members engaged in Lodha Foundation’s programmes and activities
- Support implementation of a communication strategy
- Report on targets and activities set in your detailed implementation work plan
- Coordinate and manage a team of volunteer, stipend-based Unnati Community Mobilizers and Lodha Associate volunteers in your area to conduct outreach, raise awareness, collect data, and coordinate meetings and programme activities
- Support scoping, implementation planning, establishment, and maintenance of pilots and partnerships with NGOs, colleges, companies and otherwise in your area
- Coordinate and conduct job readiness workshops, job drives, and other events with partners in your area of operation
- Various Ad hoc tasks
Education & Experience:
- Graduate in Social Work, Education, or a related field
- Excellent academic record
- Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative
- Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral
- Team player, proactive attitude
- Excellent writing, reporting, and presentation skills
- Willingness to learn
- Experience with data collection and reporting desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and Marathi
- Understanding of the political and cultural environments of India and area of operation
- Demonstrated passion for development and social impact issues (through professional experience, internships, volunteerism, coursework, or other experiences)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with multiple stakeholders
