About the role

This is a Chipseal Labourer / Surfacing Worker position based in Rotorua. The role involves assisting with road construction, chipsealing, asphalt surfacing and general road maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with chipseal and asphalt operations

• Spread and handle road surfacing materials

• Help prepare roads for sealing

• Load and unload equipment and materials

• Keep the worksite clean and safe

• Assist operators and other crew members

• Complete basic paperwork and daily checks

• Basic equipment checks and maintenance

About you

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

• Class1 licence a bonus

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Good attitude, reliability and willingness to learn

• Understanding of workplace health and safety

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors

• Good communication and attention to detail

• Roading or construction experience would be beneficial
