About the role
You'll provide professional mobile dog grooming services to clients across Perth using a fully equipped mobile grooming trailer. This position offers independence in your day-to-day work, backed by the support of an established business. There will be opportunity to progress to management positions for the right applicant.
Key responsibilities
Provide professional mobile dog grooming services, including bathing, clipping, styling, brushing, nail trimming and coat care
Manage client bookings, appointments, daily schedules and take payments.
Communicate professionally with clients regarding grooming requirements, appointments and ongoing care
Maintain high standards of animal handling, safety and welfare
Operate and maintain a fully equipped mobile grooming trailer
Manage grooming supplies, stock levels and inventory requirements
Maintain grooming equipment and ensure the trailer is clean, organised and professionally presented
Plan daily travel routes and manage appointment times efficiently
Build positive relationships with clients and encourage repeat bookings
About you (preferred)
Dog grooming certification/training
Previous professional dog grooming experience, including the ability to complete full grooms independently
Confidence handling dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
A current driver's licence and the ability to safely tow and manoeuvre a grooming trailer (financial incentives for those who prefer to use their own vehicle)
A positive attitude, reliability and a genuine passion for animal welfare
Previous mobile grooming experience is desirable but not essential
