Reed Accountancy Oxford are thrilled to be partnering with a well established and market leaving client who are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their expanding FP&A function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant or FP&A Analyst with exposure supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, and experience owning the reporting and financial analysis function to join a team and drive forward automation and process improvement initiatives during a period of change.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Deliver FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
Prepare, reconcile and review annual accounts, investigating variances where required.
Partner with stakeholders to review financial results and support account sign-off.
Analyse financial performance and provide insight into budget variances.
Process society and editor payments in line with contractual agreements.
Support month-end activities and trading account reviews.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
Lead automation and reporting initiatives using Power BI, Power Query and Office Scripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Studying towards a finance qualification, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience within FP&A, management accounts or financial analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel and finance systems knowledge.
Experience with Power BI and Power Query.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly accurate, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
