White + Wong's Newmarket is on the hunt for enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chefs to join our kitchen crew at our buzzing Westfield Rooftop location!
Known for our bold South-East Asian flavours and vibrant dining atmosphere, we're looking for chefs who love the energy of a busy service, take pride in their work and are keen to grow their skills alongside a passionate team.
What we're looking for:
At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Excellent food preparation, cleanliness and hygiene standards
The ability to stay organised and keep cool under pressure
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Current NZ working rights (essential)
Experience in Asian cuisine or a similar busy restaurant is a bonus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!
