The Position
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in leading project delivery, managing client relationships, and providing strategic commercial advice across major projects. You will be responsible for guiding projects from inception through to completion while delivering expert cost planning, value engineering, risk management, and procurement advice. Alongside project responsibilities, you'll mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the business.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience of working for a PQS Cost Consultancy in New Zealand or UK
Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Proven ability to lead projects and manage project teams successfully.
Strong cost planning, value engineering, commercial management, and risk management capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Highly organised with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
