What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out servicing and maintenance on commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Completing engine, gearbox, brake and suspension repairs
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Ensuring vehicles meet safety and roadworthiness standards
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
Requirements
- Valid Category D1 driving licence – Essential
- Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Experience working on commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good attention to detail and a safety-focused approach
