Footwear Production Quality Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Footwear Production Quality Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our footwear manufacturing process. This role is crucial in maintaining product integrity and compliance with industry standards, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Operations: Basic knowledge of footwear assembly lines, upper and sole preparation, and managing shift outputs.
• Quality Awareness: Deep understanding of sports shoe defects (e.g., bonding failure, crooked stitching, color mismatch) and critical inline inspection points.
• Process & Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with footwear testing equipment (e.g., tensile testers, flexing machines, abrasion testers) and physical testing procedures.
• Data & Reporting: Maintaining lab test logs, tracking batch rejection rates, and documenting compliance records via Excel or ERP systems.
• Workplace Discipline & Safety: Following footwear manufacturing SOPs, maintaining lab calibration schedules, and adhering to strict chemical/material safety norms.
• Regulatory Compliance: Strong command over BIS standards (IS specifications) for footwear, ensuring test protocols align with national quality certifications.
• Soft Skills: Collaborative communication with the production team to resolve floor defects, paired with a detail-oriented problem-solving attitude.

Qualifications:

• Bvoc or Bsc in Footwear Design & Technology, Footwear Production.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in footwear production or quality assurance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
