Job Description

POSITION: Long-Term Substitute Teacher (November 2026 - TBD)
                   - Special Education Placement
                   - Placed through EduStaff

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

LOCATION: Spencer Elementary School

Pat Rate: $170/day (sub permit)
                 $210/day, with current Teacher Certification

Qualifications:
1. Educational:
     a. Preferred - Michigan Teaching Certificate 
     b. Minimum - Official transcripts with a total of 60 credit hours and a minimum 2.0 GPA
         from a regionally accredited college or university, temporary teaching authorization or
         current Michigan Teaching Certificate.
2. Personal:
     a. Ability to work cooperatively with administration, teaching staff, and
         students in the ongoing task of providing the best possible education for all
         students.
     b. Willingness to accept constructive criticism.
     c. Ability to function under stress.
     d. Willingness to adapt to changing situations.
