St Margaret's College offers a unique education for girls from Year 0 through to Year 13, both boarding and day girls. We offer students a dual academic pathway with NCEA and the International Baccalaureate Diploma and a strong emphasis on wellbeing and pastoral care as well as academic success. With a commitment to holistic education, balancing academic excellence with a multitude of co-curricular opportunities, St Margaret’s College encourages students and staff to discover their passions and be the very best they can be.

The Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Arts Administrator whose job it will be to co-ordinate and promote the Arts programmes while supporting the curricular and co-curricular needs of the staff and students. This role will involve promoting the St Margaret’s College Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Creative Technology Faculties by developing marketing channels and promotional material to support the co-ordination of education outside the classroom. This role will also include managing community events and keeping up to date with relevant Art networks, so the ability to juggle several projects with strong organisational skills will be required.

We require an Arts Administrator who has previous experience in performing arts and event management, preferably in a school environment and who is passionate about the arts and guiding young women in this environment. This role needs some flexibility with hours as there is some evening/weekend work so a driver’s license will be an advantage. The role is term time only with some days required in the holiday period to be negotiated with the Director of Co-Curricular Arts.

Applicants will need to commit to the vision and values of the College and demonstrate a commitment to be part of a well-resourced and supportive environment with motivated students who are keen to learn.

This is a permanent part-time role. Full-time hours during Schools Terms + 1 week per each term break (Total 41 weeks per year).
