Job Purpose
Responsible for leading the construction and execution of HV/EHV substation projects in compliance with SEC standards and requirements, approved drawings, project specifications, HSE standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage electrical construction activities for HV/EHV substations.
Manage installation of transformers, GIS/AIS, switchgear, circuit breakers, CT/PT, protection & control, SCADA, AC/DC systems and earthing.
Plan and monitor construction activities, schedules, manpower, materials and resources.
Ensure all works comply with SEC standards, approved drawings, specifications and applicable IEC standards.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, T&C and subcontractor teams.
Review method statements, ITPs, shop drawings and technical submissions.
Monitor project progress, identify delays and implement recovery actions.
Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, energization and project handover.
Manage subcontractors and ensure productivity and resource availability.
Coordinate directly with SEC/client representatives and consultants for approvals, inspections and technical matters.
Monitor quality, NCRs and punch points and ensure timely closure.
Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management.
Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety, PTW and HSE requirements.
