About the role
Torvek is seeking a talented BIM Designer to join our growing team. You will be utilising BIM to create accurate, coordinated digital models. This position is essential to ensuring our designs are delivered efficiently, collaboratively, and on time.
Key responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and coordinate comprehensive BIM models using industry standard software and protocols
Create detailed architectural drawings, sections and elevation documentation from BIM models
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless model coordination and clash detection
Prepare BIM data for analysis, visualisation, and presentation to clients and stakeholders
Communicate effectively with project teams and clients regarding BIM-related matters and deliverables
What we're looking for
Ideally experience in Revit or equivalent leading BIM tools
Some experience in seismic bracing and/or architectural steel detailing is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, co-ordinated models and documentation
Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary models and resolving clashes between different building systems
Solid understanding of architectural design principles and the ability to interpret design intent from architects and designers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within collaborative team environments
Problem solving mindset and proactive approach to improving workflow efficiency
