  • Verify participant, study, randomisation and treatment details before preparing or dispensing IP.

  • Complete accurate dose calculations and independent checks where required.

  • Maintain IP preparation, dispensing, accountability and reconciliation documentation.

  • Ensure appropriate IP storage, handling and temperature requirements are maintained.

  • Protect study integrity by maintaining clear separation between blinded and unblinded activities.

  • Promptly escalate discrepancies, temperature excursions, preparation errors, protocol deviations and safety concerns.

  • Support scheduled participant visits and complete clinical procedures within your professional scope, demonstrated competency and study delegation.

  • Complete source documentation and study records accurately and contemporaneously.

  • Assist with sponsor queries, monitoring visits and IP-related documentation queries where required.

About You

You’ll bring:

  • A current qualification and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand.

  • Demonstrated competency in medication preparation and administration.

  • The ability to complete medication and dose calculations accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed protocols and written instructions.

  • Excellent documentation, organisation and time-management skills.

  • Sound clinical judgement and the ability to recognise when escalation is required.

  • Clear communication and a collaborative approach.

  • Reliable and flexible availability for scheduled participant visits.

  • Professionalism, confidentiality and the ability to strictly maintain study blinding.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Previous clinical research or Study Coordinator experience.

  • Experience working with investigational products or in clinical trials.

  • Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.

  • Experience preparing, reconstituting or dispensing injectable medications.

  • Experience working within blinded clinical trials or as an unblinded study team member.

What We Offer

  • Flexible casual work aligned with participant visits and study requirements.

  • The opportunity to use your clinical skills in meaningful research.

  • Study-specific training and clear procedures to support high-quality work.

  • A collaborative and inclusive multidisciplinary team.

  • The opportunity to contribute to better treatment options for patients.
