Learning Support Assistants - Multiple Permanent Roles available

Our vision is to uplift and enable students and their whānau at Whangārei Girls' High School.

You will be supporting students with specific learning needs, both in classrooms, one on one and in small groups.  Relevant experience would be an advantage. The role includes personal care duties in accordance with the Support Staff Collective Agreement (Tiaki allowance payable).

Candidates will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working co-operatively and building positive effective relationships with students and staff. They must be able to relate well with teenage girls and be able to work in a bicultural environment, with initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

These are permanent positions, working during term time only.

Hours of work: 8.30 to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday (30 hours per week).

Starting date: 25 January 2027, Term 1 2027.

Appointment is subject to a clear Police Vet.
