We are looking for an experienced aluminium fabricator to join our Invercargill factory.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving, and wants to be part of a small, capable team producing high-quality products.
We are looking for someone very good at what they do — and we are happy to pay top rates for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
Fabricating custom aluminium ventilation and acoustic louvre systems from detailed drawings
Operating workshop equipment including aluminium cutoff saws, drill press, table saw, forklifts, and hand/power tools
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and quality control
Assisting with goods inwards/outwards, packing and dispatch
Supporting workflow across the factory and helping keep projects moving
What we’re looking for
Experience in aluminium or light metal fabrication
Confident using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
Ability to read fabrication drawings and dimensions
Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
Practical problem-solving ability and a can-do attitude
Reliable, organised and able to work well in a team
Physically fit and comfortable handling large products
Full driver’s licence
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand long term
