Assignment details

Location: California State Prison, Los Angeles County, Lancaster, CA
Dates: 12/21/2026 - 06/21/2027
Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift starting 7:00 AM (30-minute meal); exact end time to be confirmed

Responsibilities

Room patients, take vital signs and prepare them for provider visits
Assist providers with exams and clinic procedures
Keep accurate records and support clinic flow
Follow all custody, safety and security procedures

Requirements

Medical Assistant certification or completed MA program
Current BLS certification
Clinic or medical office experience; correctional experience preferred
Background check and CDCR security clearance
TB test, immunizations and facility health clearances
