Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role
Airline alliance applications must be assessed under legislation to determine whether an arrangement amounts to cartel behaviour or ultimately delivers benefit to New Zealand. External economists provide the analysis; your job is the policy thinking on top of it. You'll turn that analysis into clear briefings and advice for ministers, working at pace on an application that has arrived out of the blue. It's a role for someone who enjoys making complex economic material land as sharp, decision-ready policy advice.
