Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or BLS within 90 days of hire or transfer
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, treats, and monitors patients while modifying therapy programs and goals as needed
- Performs thorough clinical documentation in a timely manner and enters charges accurately
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team
- Provides education to patients, families, and staff
- Supervises ancillary staff, students, and volunteers
- Advances clinical skills through ongoing education and implements evidence-based practices
