Eastern Truck Parts & Service is looking for an experienced Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our busy and growing workshop team in Napier.

We are a locally owned and operated heavy transport business with a strong reputation across Hawke’s Bay. We are the DAF and Kenworth dealer, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, customer service and developing our people.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Heavy vehicle experience preferred

• Experience with Kenworth, DAF and Cummins is an advantage

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Good attitude and able to work well as part of a team

• Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety

• Flexible to work late when required

• Available for rostered Saturday mornings when required

• Willing to participate in an on-call roster
