We have some exciting opportunities within our production management teams based in Te Puke.

These roles are responsible for leading our production teams to optimise productivity, performance and processing efficiency, while minimising fruit loss and maximising overall packhouse performance.

As a key part of our operational leadership team, Production Management Leads play a pivotal role in the success of our packhouse operation.  We’re looking for people with proven experience in leading people, problem solving and achieving cost and performance targets, who thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

These roles are leading teams of both permanent and seasonal employees, so strong people and communication skills are essential. You’ll be responsible for creating an environment of operational excellence where people are supported, empowered and equipped to perform at their best.

To be successful, you’ll also need:

• The ability to work to deadlines and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Excellent problem-solving, planning and time-management skills.

• Knowledge and understanding of a Permit to Work system.

• A good level of computer literacy and confidence working with systems and technology.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills, with the ability to take responsibility for technical issues as they arise.

• Flexibility to work extended hours with varying start and finish times (including weekends) to meet the operational needs of the business, particularly during peak season.
