We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our DX team as a Full-time Motorcycle Postie Team Leader - Lower Hutt

 

Here's what you'll do…

As Postie Team Leader, you will provide overall staff supervision and support for the day-to-day delivery performance, review and allocate runs, mail volumes, and staffing resources as required to ensure mail delivery standards are maintained.

The key accountabilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following:

• Promoting a strong health and safety culture, ensuring safety remains the top priority.

• Leading, coaching, and supporting team members to achieve high performance and excellent service for all external and internal customers.

• Review and maintain delivery run maps to ensure routes remain efficient and safe.

• Ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency

What we're looking for…

A strong team player who can work effectively under pressure. Can demonstrate a client-focused attitude, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions. You will also need strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, able to use initiative to solve problems and improve processes.

• Proven ability to lead a team, prioritise workloads, and meet operational deadlines

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Ability to resolve customer issues in a professional and constructive manner
