These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to important road infrastructure projects, including road and bridge maintenance, rehabilitation, construction and safety improvements across the South Coast Region.

Available Positions
1. Engineer (PO3) – $74.00 per hour
- Assist in managing road infrastructure and maintenance projects.
- Support contract administration, design, construction and project delivery.
- Undertake site inspections, quality assurance and risk assessments.
- Coordinate road and bridge maintenance activities.
- Manage road construction, rehabilitation and maintenance projects.
- Oversee contract administration, procurement and tender assessments.
- Provide technical advice and mentor engineering staff.
- Coordinate project delivery to ensure compliance with budgets, timelines and safety requirements.
- Lead complex road infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery.
- Manage procurement, construction contracts, budgets and resources.
- Provide high-level engineering advice and technical leadership.
- Oversee project performance, stakeholder engagement and compliance.
- Recognised Bachelor of Engineering qualification (Civil Engineering required for PO4 and PO5).
- RPEQ registration mandatory for Senior Engineer (PO4) and Principal Engineer (PO5).
- Experience in civil infrastructure, road construction, maintenance or rehabilitation.
- Strong project management, contract administration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current Class C driver's licence and Construction White Card.
- Ability to provide suitable PPE and complete criminal history screening.
- Competitive hourly rates up to $94.59.
- Approximately 12-month contract with potential extension.
- Opportunity to work on major Queensland road infrastructure programs.
