Job Description:

 

Report to the Shift Head.                                                 

Shift relieving with the previous shift in charge, problems, quality, manpower, material, and planning                                           

manpower status, manpower arrangement, first-hand, technician, crane operator, charging supervisor, and PQ Bay Area manpower.                                                         

Raw material status, hot metal from PQ bay, DRI, and flux from ground hopper, giving work permits for various machines, and ensuring safety                                                      

Conducting safety talk at the furnace, discussing problems of the furnace with operators and the engineer ( mech, electrical, and operation), and root cause analysis, housekeeping overview, and arrangement of housekeeping activity.                                                  

TPM and 5S activity overview and arrangement of work.                                             

Load cell calibration of tapping ladle troley, charging, and PQ bay static load cell calibration checking.                                                      

Arrangement of hot metal ladle, charging bucket, furnace condition monitoring, and planning for gunning.                                            

Checking of ebt status plan accordingly.                                              

Ensuring proper chemistry as per the grade required.                                          

Checking of furnace parameters before starting the heat, planning for crane maintenance, and planning for furnace maintenance.
