Job Description:

This hands-on role is responsible for fabricating and installing metal cladding and insulation on industrial pipework, vessels, tanks and ducting.
You will work mainly with aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised sheet, forming and fitting cladding components by hand to protect underlying insulation and plant.
Fabricate and install cladding on: Pipework (various diameters), Vessels and tanks, Ducting and associated equipment
Mark out, develop and hand-form: Segmented bends, Square-to-round transitions, Cones, Tees and other fitting shapes
Cut, fit and fix aluminium, stainless and galvanised sheet to required standards.
Install thermal and acoustic insulation materials on: Pipework and Vessels and tanks
Read and follow drawings, isometrics, and site instruction
Use hand tools and basic machinery (guillotine, rollers, folders, nibblers, etc.) safely
Measure, set out and check work to ensure a neat, accurate finish.
Work on customer sites, following all health & safety requirements and company procedures.
Maintain a tidy work area and look after tools, equipment, and vehicles.

Qualification:

A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Experience in industrial insulation and cladding, sheetmetal, or a related trade.
Ability to develop and form fittings by hand from flat sheet (no CNC required).
Confident using common hand tools and basic sheetmetal equipment.
Able to measure accurately and work from drawings or sketches.
Comfortable working at height and in an industrial site environment.
Full Philippines driver’s license and working towards a full NZ drivers license.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude.
Commitment to safe work practices.
Speaks good English. Having valid IELTS with overall score of 4.0 is an advantage
