What your days look like
- Examine and diagnose using X-rays and diagnostic tools
- Perform fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, partials, and other restorative work
- Treat gum disease and restore teeth affected by injury or decay
- Administer anesthetics and keep patients comfortable throughout treatment
- Build individualized treatment plans and walk patients through their options
- Write prescriptions and fabrication instructions as needed
- Keep clinical documentation and coding accurate and on time
- Take part in chart audits, team meetings, and company initiatives
- Offer guidance to mid-level providers and students as needed
