  • 50/50 - Angular and .Net
About the opportunity
An established financial services organisation is kicking off a major project to extend its customer-facing web platform with Angular, and is bringing on two Senior Full Stack Engineers to make it happen. This is genuinely hands-on delivery work: you'll take completed UX designs and well-defined BA requirements and turn them into polished, well-tested Angular screens, wiring them into .NET services behind the scenes. The ideal person splits their time roughly 50/50 between front end and back end, and the team embraces AI-assisted coding tools, so you'll be encouraged to work the way modern engineers want to.

The role:
  • Build new Angular screens and data-capture pages from finished UX designs and BA requirements, with clean HTML, CSS and component styling
  • Integrate the front end with back-end services, extending .NET APIs where needed
  • Write automated unit tests and headless browser tests to keep the front end reliable
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools as part of your everyday workflow
  • Help bring older Angular code up to the latest version
What you'll bring
  • 5+ years with Angular and TypeScript, including Angular 17 onwards and experience upgrading from older versions
  • 10+ years of back-end development in .NET, including API work
  • Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
  • Test automation experience, including headless browser testing (e.g. Playwright or Selenium)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools
  • Experience with Azure
Nice to have: NG Bootstrap, Node

Culture
  • A collaborative delivery team with dedicated UX and BA support
  • Clear, well-defined requirements, so you can spend your time building rather than chasing scope
  • Supportive management and a great working environment
What's on offer
  • Contract from now until the end of June 2027, with extension potential
  • Hybrid working, 2 to 3 days per week in the Melbourne office
  • Two positions available
Applicants must be based in Melbourne and hold full working rights in Australia.
