We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Support professional to join our team in Hornby, Christchurch.
Reporting to the South Island Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our sales operations and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a varied and fast-paced position where you will work closely with customers, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders to provide solutions, process orders, and build strong relationships.
Previous experience within the building, timber, or construction industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.
The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Support our Account Managers with any customer service-related tasks.
Answer incoming phone calls and develop rapport with our customers.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Actively promoting ITI’s products to generate sales.
Process sale orders and generate quotations for customers.
Troubleshooting and resolving enquiries via phone and email in a quick and efficient manner.
Effectively communicating with all stakeholders and dealing with difficult customers effectively.
Receiving and processing administration duties.

The ideal candidate must also:
Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Be willing to working flexible working hours, as required.
Highly organised, great at multi-tasking and strong attention to detail.
Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Thrives in a team environment but can also work independently.
Good ability to work under pressure.
Driver’s licence and own transport desirable.
