As a Nurse Practitioner at Kauri HealthCare, you'll have the opportunity to practise to the full extent of your scope, providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across a diverse patient population.

Your role will include:

  • Providing advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients.

  • Delivering care across both General Practice and Aged Residential Care settings.

  • Supporting the management of acute and long-term health conditions.

  • Prescribing medications and coordinating appropriate investigations, referrals and follow-up care.

  • Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care.

  • Building strong relationships with patients, whānau and aged residential care providers.

  • Contributing to improved health outcomes, equitable access and the ongoing development of our services.

You'll have the autonomy to use your advanced clinical skills while knowing you have the support of an experienced and approachable team around you.

About you

We're looking for someone who is clinically confident, compassionate and enjoys being part of a team.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner and a current Annual Practising Certificate.

  • A strong background in primary healthcare, with an interest in Aged Residential Care.

  • Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic and prescribing skills.

  • A commitment to providing high-quality, equitable and patient-centred healthcare.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, whānau and colleagues.

  • An understanding of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in healthcare.

  • A collaborative, adaptable and proactive approach to your work.
