Love logistics, organisation and keeping things moving?

We’re looking for a highly organised Vehicle Reconditioning & Logistics Specialist at Team Hutchinson All Makes to take ownership of the movement and coordination of vehicles through our reconditioning process.

Automotive experience is NOT essential.

In fact, we’re particularly interested in people with backgrounds in logistics, transport, warehousing, dispatch, operations, fleet coordination or supply chain who know how to juggle priorities, work with multiple suppliers and make sure nothing gets forgotten.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll become the person who knows:

Where every vehicle is. What it needs. Who is doing it. And when it will be ready.

You'll coordinate vehicles from arrival through to being fully prepared and ready for sale.

Your day could include:

• Receiving and checking vehicles as they arrive

• Coordinating vehicle movements between our sites

• Prioritising vehicles based on sales requirements

• Booking and coordinating reconditioning work

• Managing relationships with external suppliers

• Following up outstanding work and actively removing delays

• Coordinating grooming, servicing, repairs and other preparation

• Checking completed vehicles before they're released for sale

• Keeping the Sales team updated on progress

• Identifying bottlenecks and finding smarter ways to keep vehicles moving

What we're really looking for - we're not searching for a mechanic. We're searching for an outstanding organiser! If you're accustomed to coordinating people, products, suppliers and deadlines, we'd like to hear from you. 

You'll be someone who:

• Is exceptionally organised

• Can manage multiple jobs at once without losing track

• Enjoys a busy, fast-moving environment

• Naturally follows things through to completion

• Communicates confidently with suppliers and internal teams

• Understands urgency and prioritisation

• Spots problems before they become bigger problems

• Is practical and comfortable being hands-on

• Takes pride in accuracy and presentation

• Enjoys improving systems and processes

• Has good computer and administration skills

• Holds a full NZ driver's licence

Automotive experience? Helpful, but definitely not required. We'll teach you the automotive side.
