About the role
As Warehouse Manager, you'll lead daily operations and ensure seamless handling of goods from container to customer for EURO-DELL, an importer and distributor of premium European food brands supplying supermarkets, restaurants, and delicatessens across New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage warehouse staff and workflow
Oversee Health & Safety compliance in line with NZ regulations
Manage devanning of containers and efficient unloading processes
Ensure MPI compliance, inspections, and associated documentation
Oversee and ensure compliance with the company's Food Safety Programme within the department
Manage inventory control and accurate stock management using internal systems
Coordinate inbound logistics with transport providers
Manage and monitor warehouse supplies, tools, and consumables
Maintain supplier relationships and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and support
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and workflow optimisation
About you
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management
Strong understanding of MPI import procedures and biosecurity standards
Health & Safety leadership experience (formal training advantageous)
Solid knowledge of container devanning processes
Reach & Counterbalance Forklift licence and/or experience operating material handling equipment
Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Full, clean NZ driver's licence
NZ residency or valid work permit is essential
