About the role
You'll be working across customer sites, our workshop, getting involved in everything from routine servicing and preventative maintenance through to fault finding, repairs and machine preparation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working with their hands and being out and about with customers, as well as having time in the workshop.
Key responsibilities
Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial espresso coffee machines
Servicing and repairing domestic coffee machines
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues both onsite and over the phone
Carrying out preventative maintenance on commercial and domestic coffee equipment
Providing professional and friendly service to customers
Managing repair jobs and prioritising work to ensure customers are looked after promptly
Identifying parts and additional service requirements when working on customer equipment
Preparing, testing and servicing machines ready for sale or dispatch
Keeping our loan machines clean, tested and ready to go
Maintaining accurate parts and equipment stock
About you
Experience servicing and repairing commercial espresso coffee machines
Experience with domestic coffee machine servicing and repairs
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving ability
A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Great time-management and organisational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A current driver's licence
The ability to travel out of town
