Job Title: Sheep Milking Farm Assistant

Company: Southern Cross Dairy Sheep Technology - Genetic Farm - Waikino Station 

Location: Te Putu Road Waihaha 3381, Lake Taupo, New Zealand

We are seeking a full-time dedicated Sheep Milking Farm Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in dairy farming and a passion for working on a farm.

Responsibilities:

- Milking 1300 dairy ewes

- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the farm

- Ensuring the health and well-being of the animals

- General farm maintenance tasks

- Following milking and safety protocols

Requirements:

- Previous milking experience is a must. Sheep dairy experience is ideal but not necessary

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong work ethic and dedication to animal care and wellbeing. 

- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
