Numbers inform. Insights influence. Decisions transform.
At Shoof, we're looking for more than someone who can analyse numbers - We're looking for someone who can turn insight into action.
Reporting to the CFO, you'll be a key strategic and commercial partner to our CEO and Senior Leadership Team, helping shape business strategy, investment priorities and long-term planning across the Group.
As a private equity-backed business operating across New Zealand, Australia, Chile with exports into wider markets, we're looking for someone who can bring together commercial insight, financial analysis and strategic thinking to help drive better decisions and stronger business performance.
Working alongside our Finance Manager, you'll focus on what's next. Identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, evaluating investment decisions and helping answer the big questions around where we play, why we play there, and how we win.
You'll be equally comfortable diving into the detail and stepping back to see the bigger picture, influencing decisions that support Shoof's growth and future direction.
What you'll bring
Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, strategy or a similar business partnering role
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
Advanced analytical and financial modelling capability
Confidence influencing and constructively challenging senior leaders
The ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights
Curiosity, initiative and a genuine interest in how businesses grow
Why Shoof?
This is an opportunity to work at the heart of the business, partnering directly with our CFO, CEO and SLT to help shape the future direction of Shoof.
If you're energised by strategy, commercial problem solving and having a genuine seat at the table, we'd love to hear from you.
Interested?
Send us your CV and, instead of a traditional Cover Letter, please send a one-page response to the following question:
What's one business, market or industry trend that you believe organisations are underestimating, and what would you be doing about it if you were helping shape strategy in that business?
We're not looking for a right answer. We're interested in how you think, how you connect information, and how you turn insight into action.
