About the role
As an Intermediate Accountant at Foundry56, you'll become part of a collaborative team that enjoys helping clients succeed and helping each other grow. Based in Timaru and working with businesses throughout New Zealand, you'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, develop your technical skills, and work alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your success. Key responsibilities
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
Preparing and reviewing GST returns
Building strong relationships with clients
Helping clients understand their business performance and financial position
Working with colleagues to identify opportunities and solutions for clients
Reporting to directors on services delivered and client outcomes
Using cloud-based technology to improve efficiency and accuracy
About you
2+ years' experience in a chartered accountancy or business advisory practice
Experience using Xero and other cloud-based systems
Strong information systems skills and an interest in developing them further
Clear and confident communication skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A collaborative, team-first mindset
The legal right to work in New Zealand
