The team
Our Blenheim Commercial practice has an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join the team.
Blenheim offers a distinctive practice environment. The team is small and close knit, and the work is varied and often relationship driven, with strong links into the wider Marlborough community. You will have the opportunity to develop your own profile over time and contribute to a practice that is deeply connected to its clients and community.
All applications will be treated as strictly confidential.
The work
This role offers a broad and varied practice across commercial, property and private client work. You could be involved in residential and commercial conveyancing, subdivisions, leasing, general property advisory, commercial contracts, trusts, estates and succession planning.
Because this is a small practice, you will work directly with clients, manage your own matters with partner support, see transactions through from start to finish, and develop your commercial judgement and client relationships.
This role also offers the chance to build strong relationships within the Marlborough community, maintaining longstanding connections and building on these. If you are passionate about providing practical, client-focused advice and want to be part of a team with genuine local connection, we would love to hear from you.
Could this be the role for you?
We are looking for a lawyer with at least 3 years’ experience who holds, or is eligible to hold, a New Zealand practising certificate.
You will bring:
