dreamwork_

We are a product company. We design and build our own parking equipment: payment terminals, entry and exit stations, and the cloud platform operators use to manage and monitor them. We own the whole stack, from the board inside the kiosk to the dashboard in the browser. Your work goes straight onto devices that real drivers use every day.

About the project
Our equipment runs at airports, hospitals, universities, municipal garages, transit hubs, resorts and commercial properties. Each device is a self-contained Linux machine that has to:
process card and contactless payments securely
control barrier gates, ticket dispensers, readers and other peripherals
keep working when the network drops, then sync with the cloud once it’s back
run for months with no one on site, and accept remote updates and diagnostics
The embedded Linux platform is the base that every device and every new feature depends on.

Your role
You’ll own that Linux platform: the OS image, system services, device drivers and integrations, and the C++ applications that tie the hardware to our cloud. You’ll work closely with the hardware, cloud and support teams. You’ll see the results of your work on real equipment, not just in a simulator.

Responsibilities

Write and improve the C++ software that runs on our parking equipment
Build and maintain our Linux images with Buildroot
Look after the PostgreSQL database on each device, from configuration and schema changes to version upgrades
Make sure data syncs reliably between devices and the cloud
Prepare and test updates before they go out to devices on customer sites
Track down issues across software and hardware using logs, SSH and database tools
Work hands-on with payment terminals, printers, card readers and serial devices
Make the existing codebase better, step by step
Use AI tools in your daily work and help the team find AI workflows that actually help

Requirements

3+ years of commercial C++ development experience
Strong knowledge of C++ and experience with Qt
Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux
