About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a PVD Coating Plant Operator to join our growing team of machinists. This role is entry level; machinery experience would be advantageous but not required as full training will be provided. This role is permanent full time and is guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. This role reports to the Team Leader and is based out of the Shot Darts factory in Katikati, Bay of Plenty.
Key responsibilities
Applying PVD Coating to various production models
Quality control, checking jobs to standards and guidelines
Cyclic machine maintenance
Ensuring efficient use of materials
Operating machines in a safe manner
Follow operating procedure and process
Follow Health and Safety procedure
Update job cards and production documents daily
