About the role
You are the face of Sparkling Pools for every North Shore client. Your job is to leave every pool swim-ready on every visit, keep clients confident in us so they stay for years, and spot the equipment and repair needs that keep their pool running at its best. You own the route: its quality, its timing and its growth as new clients join.
Key responsibilities
Complete the full valet for each client's tier: empty skimmer and pump baskets, brush walls and floor, clean tile-work, vacuum, backwash, and clean covers as required
Test and balance water chemistry, dosing correctly and safely every time
Check auto-dosing, chlorinators, heating, filtration and cleaning equipment, and confirm everything is running before you leave
Care for spas on the route to the same standard as the pool
Complete the Jobber valet report on site for every visit, with photos and readings, before leaving the property
Flag equipment faults and repair needs through the "Quote to follow" list so the service team can follow up
Arrive on the scheduled day and within the agreed window, in full uniform
Treat every property with care: close gates, secure pets, protect paving and gardens, leave the area tidy
Be friendly and professional with clients; refer questions on pricing, quotes or accounts to the office
Keep your vehicle clean, presentable and stocked, and report maintenance needs early
About you
Live on or near the North Shore
Full, clean NZ driver licence
Proven reliability: you turn up on time, every time, and do what you say
Well presented, polite and confident dealing with clients in premium homes
Eye for detail and pride in leaving things better than you found them
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and lifting up to 25kg
Confident using a smartphone and apps to record your work
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Pool or spa servicing experience, or knowledge of water chemistry (nice to have)
Experience with heat pumps, salt chlorinators, automation or robotic cleaners (nice to have)
