About the role
As an established civil infrastructure business with a mix of public and private sector clients, Base Civil has a reputation for quality and delivery across a range of projects in the region, for customers across the government, local authority and private clients. This Project Manager role works with the Operations Manager, with Project Engineers and site teams reporting through. Projects encompass earthworks, drainage, paving and roading with a separate specialist surfacing team.
Key responsibilities
Work with Operations Manager on project delivery and team leadership
Manage Project Engineers and site teams
Oversee projects encompassing earthworks, drainage, paving and roading
Lead quality and problem-solving across projects
About you
Project Manager level experience in a New Zealand based civil business
Broad based NZ experience with ideally some exposure to regional, city council or NZTA projects
B.E. Civil qualification or equivalent
Several years of experience as a Project Manager in NZ
Strong quality, team leadership and problem-solving reputation
